Biography

After moving from Ontario to Vancouver Island in 1987, Liz was inspired by the stunning landscapes of the West Coast to begin painting. Starting with watercolour, she developed a deep appreciation for how the beauty of nature and emotion can flow together on paper. Over the decades, painting remained a constant, even when life occasionally required a pause. Now painting full-time, Liz creates both scenic and abstract works across a variety of mediums, allowing her practice to move freely between subject, size, and technique. Her work is held in private collections across British Columbia, Ontario, Nova Scotia, Portugal, Sweden, and Denmark.
